According to the legal documents, Kanye West filed a trademark for Yeezy Beauty on June 2nd and is planning to launch a Yeezy cosmetics line.
The 43-year-old rapper is the owner of his fashion company Yeezey. He has dominated the fashion industry with his Yeezy label, which sells clothes and footwear. The designer and rapper Kanye West seems to be ready to do the same in the beauty world.
Among the list of trademarked items, Kanye West is preparing to come out with a range of cosmetics that cover the beauty basics such as; cosmetics, facial makeup, concealers, blushers, facial powders, foundation, eye makeup, eye pencils, eyebrow pencils, mascara, false eyelashes, face and body glitter, lipstick, lip gloss, lip pencils and much more.
Moreover, Kanye also trademarked a few skincare essentials such as eye creams, facial cleansers, toners, facial exfoliants and scrubs, facial creams, facial moisturizers, and facial lotions.
His trademarked items may also tap into other categories of beauty, including hair, nails, body, perfumes, and appliances.
This is not the first time Kanye West filed a cosmetic trademark. Back in 2017, Kanye West had filed a trademark application for a cosmetic line named Donda, which never materialized.
The line was named after his mother, Donda West, who passed away in 2007.
If Kanye West's beauty line does launch, he'll be part of the family's growing beauty business along with wife Kim Kardashian "KKW Beauty and Fragrance brands" and Kylie Jenner's "Kylie Cosmetics and Kylie Skin".
