Lizzo who has previously shared workout clips on her Instagram page delivers an impressive speech on self-love.
The 32-year-old singer posted a video on Tuesday of her workout routine on TikTok and tells body-shamers 'I’m not working out to have your ideal body type'. She also tells the body shamers that there’s more to one’s health than what’s featured on the outside.
Lizzo had a lot more to say to the trolls out there, watch the video now.
This isn't the first time that Lizzo has put body-shamers in their place. The video above shows a montage of her exercise routine, and in a voiceover, Lizzo said: "Hey, so I've been working out consistently for the last five years," and also added "And it may come as a surprise to some of y'all that I'm not working out to have your ideal body type. I’m working out to have my ideal body type. And do you know what type that is? None of your f–king business"
She ended her video by saying:
"Next time you want to come for somebody and judge them, whether they drink kale smoothies or eat McDonald’s or work out, or not work out, how about you look at your own f–king self and worry about your own God damn body because health is not just determined on what you look like on the outside. Health is also what happens on the inside and a lot of y’all need to do a f–king cleanse of your insides."
Earlier this week, Lizzo posted another video where she talks about big girls who post on Tiktok and about the people who put Lizzo's name in their comments... (watch video)
In the video above Lizzo said "Every time there is a big girl on this app, I find that people always put my name in the comments. And to the people who be putting my name in the comments, thank you," she continued, "Because you know what? If every time you see a big girl on this app, loving on herself and putting herself out there and being confident and loving her body, you think of me. Or you think she looks like me. Bitch, that is a what? Compliment," To see Lizzo's most recent Tiktok videos visit her page.
