It has been 25 years since Selena Quintanilla's death, but she remains one of the most beloved artists around the world.
The new Netflix show, Selena: The Series, follows the singer from when she was a young girl with big dreams to when she became the Queen of Tejano Music.
Selena's role is played by 30-year-old Christian Serratos, also known as Rosita Espinosa in AMC's The Walking Dead TV series.
Selena became the most successful female Latin artist of all-time.
She made history in more ways than one, Selena was the first female artist to win the Grammy for Best Mexican-American album.
Unfortunately, her life was tragically taken at the age of 23 when she was shot and killed by fan club president Yolanda Saldivar in 1995.
