Fenty Skin is finally Here.
Rihanna first trademarked 'Fenty Skin' back in 2019 and after years in the making, she has recently announced the launch of her first skin-care products.
Rihanna's new skin-care products are vegan and gluten-free. It will not be gender-specific and will feature earth-conscious packaging.
Rihanna celebrated her debut skincare drop with a virtual pre-launch party.
She explained that her goal behind the brand in a teaser video: 'I'm a woman of color and I have a lot of sensitivity in a lot of areas on my face so, I get really picky with products and a lot of the time I get scared and cautious. I wanted a product that just worked, more than anything'.
The cleanser, designed to breakdown make-up, oil and dirt all without drying the skin, is oil-free and noncomedogenic, formulated to avoid blocking pores for those fellow congested skin guys and gals.
The range is also packed with Niacinamide (anti-inflammatory ingredient), Barbados Cherry to brighten and Green Tea, to fight against environmental aggressors - just to name a few.
Fenty Skin's eco-credentials are solid.
The moisturiser-SPF-hybrid is not only coral reef friendly (aka doesn't contain oxybenzone or octinoxate) and refillable to cut down on plastic wastage, but it's also got a slight pink tint to it, to avoid a white cast on darker skin tones and is designed to have zero flashback and avoid pilling under your foundation.
