MTV has been firing multiple reality T.V stars from their network over their past racist comments, and Taylor Selfridge is one of them. Taylor Selfridge has appeared on multiple MTV shows like Are You the One?, Ex on the Beach and The Challenge, she also had an upcoming show with boyfriend Cory Wharton called "Teen Mom OG At Home: Cory & Taylor's Baby Special," which will no longer air.
On its premiere day, Taylor's "Baby Special" show was pulled off the air by MTV and replaced by another show instead.
Although MTV ended their relationship with Taylor Selfridge in light of her past racist statements she had made on Twitter, Taylor decided to make an Instagram post with a completely different story. She claimed via Instagram that she "made the decision last week to not film the next season of Teen Mom OG with Cory for the benefit of myself and my daughter." Taylor Selfridge isn't the only one who MTV has fired so far. MTV has also cut ties with
"The Challenge" star Dee Nguyen for her offensive comments on the Black Lives Matter movement. The Challenge show will air the season as planned, but the current season of MTV’s competition series will be going forward without cast member Dee Nguyen.
Dee will not even appear in the reunion which will be filmed at a later date.
Due to the coronavirus pandemic, Dee wasn't able to catch a flight back home to Australia. She was staying with Wes during the lockdown in The U.S.
Wes is a cast member of The Challenge, who lives in Kansas City, Mo with his wife.
Wes went public and this is what he had to say about Dee on Twitter.
